It sounds cliche, but we all too often never truly appreciate what we have until it’s gone. My sheltering tendencies led me to build walls and fabrications to suppress my own emotions and fears. My mile high walls only served the purpose of heightening my own indecision.
When it came to appreciating what I had, I finally realized it was too late to reclaim what I had lost.
They say every day gets easier, I now know that old cliche is nothing but a cliche.
Every day doesn’t get easier and time doesn’t heal all wounds; but I’m okay with that, this was my choice and now its my chance to make things right. It’s my chance to make things right by myself.
